Delivery and Returns

Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and Delivery is the charge for internet order processing, item selection, packaging, transport and handling. We don’t guarantee delivery times, but we do our best to provide accurate estimates. Orders may be handled by us directly or by one of our partner designated Offical Scraperite Resellers and shipping center nearest to the delivery address.
Orders are shipped Ex Works (EXW) from the designated shipping center and deliveries occur according to the last mile service partner schedule. Shipping and Delivery charges are subject to change and are determined when you order, using your own account is encouraged to ensure best rate and bill tracking. Estimated delivery time assumes orders are placed before 12:00 noon, in the time zone of the designated warehouse. Orders you place with Scraperite late on Friday or on Saturday will not be processed until Monday. Charges may be added to orders with Priority, Overnight and International shipping if we try unsuccessfully to deliver your order more than once.
Delivery addresses in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam should add an additional $5.00 charge for standard Shipping & Delivery. Orders arrive in 7 to 9 business days when ordered before 12:00 noon (EST).
Returns and Replacements
We want you to be completely happy with your Scraperite order. However, this is a consumable disposable product so all sales are final and product cannot be returned. It would be like returning sand paper after using it or a pair of shoes after wearing the soles down (though some will try). On the other hand, if there is any type of manufacturing defect in any Scraperite brand product, we will gladly accept your timely return of remaining defective merchandise. Returned merchandise should include the original packaging and be in the same condition as when it was received. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of receipt of merchandise. Give us a call or send us an email telling us the reason there may be a manufacturer defect and include a photo of the defective parts. We will connect with you within 24hrs to discuss the problem and offer replacement product.
Defective Product does NOT include broken blades or worn edges. All blades have different characteristics, some snap easily but hold their edge longer while others remain more pliable with a softer edge. Blade selection should consider surface being cleaned, solvent to be used, and substance being removed.
Blade Characteristics and Performance
Scraperite plastic safety scrapers are designed to be the sacrificial item. It offers targeted scraping of unwanted substances, reducing risk of damage to surrounding areas. Unlike scrubbing sponges or steel pads which inevitably damage the area around what being cleaned, sometimes to a more damaging end result. They wear and break. They can also last for years, depending on the use situation. Pan cleaning, light auto detailing, around the office or home would be some examples of blades lasting long beyond expectations. Caution!
First and foremost, be smart! Don't let children handle the product, none of the Scraperite products are toys and should be treated with respect for their intended use. Keep out of reach from children (and some adults). Scraperite plastic safety scrapers are named as such for their characteristic of scraping against a variety of underlying surfaces with less risk of damage, and certainly not sharp like metal blades which are typically intended for cutting. The word safety is not associated with the idea of providing safety from personal injury or even property damage. Blades break, some have more acute corner angles, and shards are sharp enough to cut. Wear gloves and eye protection and possibly breathing filter or appropriate protection relevant to the job being undertaken.
